WHY I CREATED CADENZ
I created the kind of music school I wanted to teach in.
I’m Adrien, founder of Cadenz and a guitar, piano and percussion teacher at the school. For the past 12 years, I’ve taught music and coordinated several music schools in France.
That experience showed me that students shouldn’t have to choose between serious musical foundations and an approach that feels flexible, modern and fun. Too often, traditional schools offer a rigid format that doesn’t reflect each student’s goals, schedule or musical tastes.
I created Cadenz in Berlin to bring those elements together: inspiring lessons shaped around each student, taught by carefully selected, qualified musicians. I’m still closely involved in the school — both as a teacher and in personally helping students find the right match.
Because learning music should be rigorous enough to help you progress, but personal and enjoyable enough to keep you inspired.
